Sire Larry Carlton T7 Old Gen 2025 I'm reluctantly putting my 2025 Sire Larry Carlton T7 Old Gen up for sale. I do still like this guitar and would happily keep it, but I just prefer the feel and play of the one semi-hollow I'm keeping from the test I did. I tried five different guitars I really liked, of which this was one, but need to make a choice so here goes.

The guitar is in good condition apart from a few small scratches on the body and pickup but they're negligible and have no impact on its playability. Some of the features were changed on the newer models, but I think the original specification gets closer to what makes a Telecaster sound and respond like a Telecaster in the first place. It has a roasted maple neck with a really comfortable rounded C profile. The neck has a substantial but easy feel in the hand. It has great locking tuners that hold well. It comes in the classic Butterscotch Blonde finish, which is just iconic. If you're looking for an older-generation T7 with features that gets closer to the traditional Telecaster formula, with the Tele snap and twang for a reasonable price, this is what you want. I do really like the guitar, but I've realised that hollow-body guitars are where I feel most at home and fit my play the best. After trying five different guitars I felt really good with, keeping all of them just doesn't make financial sense, so I'm letting this one go. I don't need the money immediately and it's not in my way so I'll wait for someone that really wants it rather than hagglers looking for an impulsive dopamine purchase.
