Univox U-250-PB Bass amp head. Looks to have been made in early to mid 1971. It works just as it should and appears to be mostly original. The neon power lamp was weak, so it was replaced with an LED. This is the discrete (transistor) power amp version, not the IC (BHA0002) power amp version, so it can be serviced, if need be. The heads usually came with a piggyback cabinet with a 15", 4 ohm speaker. The speaker jack is in the back of the amp. It is quite clean for a 55 year old amp. Please see the pictures for the cosmetic details.

Please note that these amps were rated at 19 watts, but the actual power output is about 8 watts @ 8 ohms and around 12 watts @ 4 ohms. They also have non-shorting input jacks, so the amp may produce a small hum when nothing is plugged into it. When a bass or guitar is plugged into it, it does not matter anymore. Shorting jacks could easily be added if you wanted. I preferred to leave it is it is.
