----------------------------------

We’ve just received a 2022 1962 Stratocaster modeled after an early 1962 Stratocaster.

This Custom Shop model features a 7.25” radius and vintage-style frets—a somewhat rare vintage-spec guitar.

This vintage-spec Strat features a 7.25” fingerboard radius and vintage-sized 45085 frets.

The controls are wired with a Master Volume, Tone 1 (Front Pickup), and Tone 2 (Middle and Bridge Pickups) configuration, allowing the tone controls to effectively shape the sound.

The frets have been leveled and are in about 70–80% condition, so the guitar is still very much playable.

The neck features a straight-grained pattern with a slight quarter-sawn appearance, staying true to the vintage style.

The fingerboard is a slab-style laminate, and the neck shape is the classic 60s Oval “C” shape.

The truss rod has a full range of adjustment.

The model names of the pickups are not listed on the spec sheet, so details are unclear; however, given that they feature beveled black bobbins, it is believed that 60s Strat pickups are installed.

Weighing just 3.35 kg, this is a lightweight instrument and comes highly recommended.

It has excellent natural resonance, and when plugged into an amp, it produces a very natural, uncolored tone. It is recommended for those seeking a sound that goes beyond what the American Vintage II series offers.
