2020 Fender Mod Shop Stratocaster in Ice Blue Metallic with an alder body, genuine Fender USA roasted-maple neck and HSS pickup configuration.

The guitar currently has its original Fender V-Mod single-coil pickups in the neck and middle positions, along with a Seymour Duncan JB Model humbucker in the bridge. The JB provides a fuller, higher-output bridge sound while preserving the traditional Strat sound in the neck and middle positions.

The current neck is a genuine 2022 Fender USA roasted-maple Stratocaster neck with a maple fingerboard. The neck and pickup conversion were professionally installed and set up by a luthier.

IMPORTANT NECK AND SERIAL-NUMBER DISCLOSURE:

This guitar was originally ordered through the Fender Mod Shop with an American Professional mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard. After approximately one year, the original neck developed a warping/stability issue. I elected to replace it with the current genuine Fender USA roasted-maple neck. The original mahogany neck is not included.

Because the neck was replaced, the serial number on the current headstock does not match the serial number shown on the original Fender certificate and Mod Shop specification sheet. This is the original 2020 Fender Mod Shop body and hardware fitted with a genuine Fender replacement neck—not an unbranded or aftermarket-copy neck. The original Fender certificate of authenticity and Mod Shop specification sheet are included.

The original Fender V-Mod bridge single-coil pickup and original SSS tortoiseshell pickguard are also included, allowing the next owner to return the guitar to its original SSS pickup configuration if desired. The loose pickup pictured inside the Seymour Duncan packaging is the original Fender V-Mod bridge pickup; the Seymour Duncan JB is currently installed in the guitar.

CONDITION:

The guitar is in very good overall condition and has been carefully maintained. There is one small finish chip near the upper strap button, clearly shown in the photographs, along with normal light surface wear on the pickguard. Otherwise, the body, neck, frets and hardware are very clean. The guitar plays and functions properly.
