The Sony LVR-3000N was the groundbreaking first-generation Component Recordable Video (CRV) system introduced by Sony around 1988. When originally launched, these industrial masterwork units were exceptionally premium—costing television studios and medical labs roughly $30,000 for the hardware alone.
