Fender David Gilmour Pink Floyd Tribute Stratocaster & Strap

This is a David Gilmour Stratocaster tribute guitar in very good condition created by Famous Guitar Replicas.  Assembled from several components, the neck is from a 2015 Fender Standard HSS Stratocaster and the body and electronics are from a 2002 Fender Classic Series Stratocaster. While the pickups are stock, the mini-toggle modification has been added.  When activated, it allows the neck pickup to be switched no matter where the 5-position selector switch is set, turning the electronics into seven-positions, essentially.  The tremolo arm has been shortened as well to match Gilmour’s.  Comes with a repro of the Jimi Hendrix strap David had adorned to his guitar.   

The body and neck are not relic’d, but they are in used condition, showing some marks and dinks along its lifespan.  Guitar has spent all of its life in a smoke-free studio, has maybe three hours playing time on it, and it set up with D’addario 9s.  Ships in a semi-hardshell form-fitted Road Runner case. 

Please understand: this is not a Fender Custom Shop David Gilmour guitar or any official factory creation.  But if you’re looking for a player’s-grade guitar you don’t have to keep an eye on when left alone onstage between sets, this is the perfect instrument for you.
