Schecter Omen Elite-8 Multiscale Guitar in Charcoal

The Omen Elite-8 Multiscale delivers ergonomic comfort and articulate performance across all eight strings through its fanned fret design that conforms naturally to hand anatomy. Tight, percussive voicing cuts through dense mixes with controlled aggression—essential for modern metal, progressive rock, and djent where tonal definition and sustain demand precision. Balanced weight and a responsive neck make extended playing sessions effortless whether exploring complex extended-range voicings or executing demanding single-note passages.

Playability & Construction

The maple neck features a thin "C" profile (0.787" at the 1st fret, 0.866" at the 12th) paired with a rosewood fretboard and 24 jumbo frets on a 20" radius—geometry optimized for speed and articulation across the extended range. Bolt-on construction with a mahogany body and poplar burl top ensures reliable sustain and tonal clarity, while the multiscale design spanning 25.5" to 27" accommodates proper string tension and intonation across all eight strings.

Tone & Electronics

Two Schecter Diamond Heretic humbuckers—one in the bridge position and one in the neck—deliver aggressive, defined output required for high-gain applications without losing articulation or note separation. The signal path remains direct and responsive through simple, effective controls (volume, tone, and 5-way lever switch), while a Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut and black hardware contribute to focused tonal character and consistent tuning stability.
