Gretsch G6636T Player's Edition 2021 - Black Falcon

2021 Gretsch G6636T Players Edition Falcon Center Block Double-Cut in Black. Serial JT21020928, made in Japan at Terada. Professionally converted to left-handed by a luthier. This is a proper conversion, not a home job, and it plays like a factory instrument.

The conversion:

• Left-handed nut
• Left-handed Bigsby installed
• Pickup selector repositioned for left-hand playing
• Side dots added to the neck for lefty orientation
• Locking strap knob added to the upper horn

Fully intonated and set up. Plays great.

Pickups: TV Jones Classic in the neck and TV Jones Classic Plus in the bridge, both on gold Universal Mounts, replacing the stock High Sensitive Filter'Trons. This is the Filter'Tron voice people actually chase out of a Falcon: chime and cut on the bridge, warm and rounded on the neck, and it holds together under drive and delay instead of turning to mud.

Stock specs: 16 inch laminated maple double-cutaway body, 1.75 inch depth, chambered spruce center block, gold sparkle binding, maple neck with Standard U profile, ebony fingerboard, 12 inch radius, 24.6 inch scale, 22 medium jumbo frets, pearloid Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays, Anchored Adjusto-Matic bridge, Grover Imperial locking tuners, gold plexi pickguard, jeweled G arrow knobs, gold hardware. Treble bleed circuit, no-load tone control, and Squeezebox PIO capacitors.

Includes: Original Gretsch hardshell case and the Certified Gretsch Guarantee certificate matching the serial.

Gretsch's factory left-handed Falcons are White and single-cut hollow body. If you want a Black Falcon, or the center block double-cut, converting a righty is the only route. This one has already been done, and done properly. Selling because I own a second Gretsch-voiced guitar and only need one. No issues, no stories.
