This amp is being sold as a PROJECT. It seems as if this amplifier has been in a bit of flood water; there is quite a bit of dust and dried flood water in the textured grooves of the tolex, the floor of the cabinet, the seams of the reverb tank bag, the flanged bottom of the reverb tank itself, and on the bottom of the cabinet. There is also a bit of evidence of floodwater along the bottom of the grille cloth. However, the reverb tank itself doesn't seem to have taken on any water, and the actual chassis of the amp is clean and has not been wet. This amplifier also has a bit of 'damp basement' smell. The amp does, however, work properly and sounds great, but does need some deep cleaning and possibly a replacement reverb tank bag.

Otherwise, this amp is in good condition, but has been used and shows some light examples of wear. Most notably, there are a few scratches, scuffs and knicks on the tolex, and the tolex is a bit dirty. The inside of the amp is dusty and could use a cleanup as well. The grill cloth also has a few knicks, and there are a few areas where the grill cloth material is a bit wavy, and there's a strip along the bottom edge where the cloth is slightly discolored because it's been damp. With a bit of TLC from an amp tech and some cleanup, this will make for an excellent gigging amp. Original footswitch included, but does come with a cover.

The 22-watt '65 Deluxe Reverb® amp is for rock, country or blues players who want a moderately powered amp they can crank up at the gig or in the studio. The full, snappy guitar tones heard on many famous recordings from Memphis to Abbey Road were made using the Deluxe™ amp. Features include dual 6V6 Groove Tubes® output tubes, one 5AR4 rectifier tube, four 12AX7 preamp tubes, two 12AT7 tubes, one 12" 8-ohm Jensen® C-12K speaker, dual channels (normal and vibrato), tube-driven Fender® reverb, tube vibrato, two-button footswitch for reverb and vibrato on-off, black textured vinyl covering and silver grille cloth.
