2013 Suhr Standard Carve Top – Bengal Burst – Factory 1-Piece Flame Maple Top – Original G&G Hardshell Case & Build Sheet

Offered here is an exceptional 2013 Suhr Standard Carve Top in Bengal Burst, serial #19639.

What makes this particular guitar especially unusual is the factory 1-piece, 3/4” flame maple carved top. Most figured maple guitar tops are constructed from two bookmatched pieces, creating a visible center seam. This guitar is different: the entire figured maple top is one continuous piece of wood, with no center seam.

The result is a beautiful uninterrupted flame pattern running across the entire carved top. One-piece figured maple of sufficient size and quality for a carved guitar top is unusual, and it makes this a particularly distinctive Suhr.

The guitar has a mahogany body finished in Bengal Burst with Dark Brown back, maple neck and Indian rosewood fingerboard. The neck is Suhr’s Even C Slim .800”–.880” profile with a 10”–14” compound radius, 1.650” Tusq nut and 22 Heavy stainless-steel frets.

Electronics are the original Suhr Aldrich humbuckers in both the neck and bridge positions, with nickel/chrome covers, controlled by volume, tone and 5-way switching.

Hardware includes a Gotoh 510 2-post tremolo with solid steel saddles and steel block, Suhr locking tuners and chrome hardware. The guitar has the elegant scraped-binding treatment around the carved maple top and a gloss painted headstock.
