AKG D220 Dynamic Cardioid Microphone – Made in Austria – Original Box
Classic Austrian-made AKG D220 dynamic microphone in very clean condition, complete with its original AKG retail box and internal packaging.
This microphone has been part of my personal studio collection and has been carefully stored. The microphone itself is exceptionally clean for its age, with only light cosmetic signs of normal use. The grille, body, AKG graphics, D220 marking and XLR connector all present very nicely. Please see the detailed photos for exact condition.
The D220 is a compact cardioid dynamic microphone designed for vocals, speech, instruments and general studio/live sound applications. Its compact form also makes it useful for instrument and amplifier placement where a traditional full-size handheld microphone can be cumbersome.

The original box does show age-related shelf wear, edge wear and corner wear, as clearly pictured. The microphone itself is considerably cleaner than the packaging.
A very nice example of an increasingly uncommon Austrian-made AKG microphone, especially with its original packaging intact.
