About this listing
Up for sale is this vintage early 1980's Vox Super Twin guitar amplifier. A rare "souped-up" 20W version of the Escort amplifier (sans battery power but plus reverb), it was produced by the Dallas Industries facility for Rose Morris, the new owners of the Vox company at the time. They very rarely show up and we're excited to offer this one to y'all...This amplifier appears to be mostly original with the possible exception of the speakers and one control knob. We are not experts on these amplifiers, so gut shots are included. Cosmetically, it is in very nice condition although it does show some light wear around the edges, including a few scuffs on the original tolex. It has been tested and everything works as it should including the reverb. For its size, it's pretty darn powerful and it's immediately clear as to why these are sought-after because it actually sounds great. As always with vintage electronics, assume this amplifier will need to be serviced by a reputable tech to unleash its full potential.Since it's a 40+ year old amplifier, it's offered "AS IS" and "AS FOUND" with no warranty or guarantee. It will be well-packed to ensure safe shipping. Please be sure to check out our other listings for more great items!THE FINE PRINT: Most of our items are used/vintage. That being said, all sales are FINAL and we do not offer returns. We only ship within the US. We do NOT make exceptions to this rule. We do not accept online trades. Please check our feedback and buy with confidence. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.
