Pair of ZVEX Nano Heads 2009 – Goodiepal / Gæoudjiparl Stereo Setup

A highly unusual pair of hand-painted ZVEX Nano Heads from 2009, previously owned and used by Danish/Faroese artist and composer Goodiepal – aka Gæoudjiparl van den Dobbelsteen.

Both amps feature their original hand-painted ZVEX artwork. Goodiepal later added his own handwritten markings to the amps, including “Venstre” (Left) and “Højre” (Right), identifying their positions when he used them together as a stereo setup.

The two amps are very close in production:

• Serial #1474 – dated June 24, 2009
• Serial #1479 – dated July 1, 2009

Only five serial numbers apart and manufactured one week apart.

The ZVEX Nano Head is a remarkably small ½-watt all-tube guitar amplifier designed to produce genuinely driven tube-amp sounds at manageable levels. It can drive a conventional 8–16 ohm guitar cabinet and also has a small built-in speaker.

Both examples retain their original ZVEX hand-painted finishes as well as Goodiepal’s handwritten markings from his stereo setup.

They show cosmetic wear from actual use, including minor scratches and marks to the enclosures. Nothing has been restored or touched up, and Goodiepal’s markings remain exactly as they were.
