Schecter Sun Valley Super Shredder FR Guitar Exotic Ziricote

The Sun Valley Super Shredder FR combines a responsive Floyd Rose 1500 Series tremolo system with a fast thin 'C' neck profile that rewards both aggressive technical passages and controlled, expressive playing. The exotic ziricote top over black limba delivers punchy articulation and natural brightness with excellent sustain, cutting cleanly through high-gain applications while maintaining warmth across the dynamic range. The double-cutaway design provides unrestricted upper-fret access, making this instrument built for modern metal, progressive rock, and demanding shredding work.

Playability & Feel

The wenge neck with carbon fiber reinforcement rods and 24 X-Jumbo stainless steel frets on a 12"-16" compound radius ebony fretboard create a fast, forgiving playing surface that handles both speed runs and chord work. Neck thickness measures .787" at the 1st fret and .866" at the 12th fret, supporting the thin 'C' profile that keeps hand fatigue minimal during extended sessions. The Floyd Rose 1500 Series nut, Grover Rotomatic 18:1 tuners, and 2-way adjustable truss rod with heel access provide stable tuning and straightforward setup adjustments.

Tone & Electronics

The Schecter USA Sunset Strip bridge pickup and Schecter USA Pasadena neck pickup pairing covers aggressive lead tones and warmer, textured rhythm voices across the 5-way switch. A single volume and tone control keep interaction straightforward, letting the pickups' character and the ziricote body's natural resonance define the instrument's voice without complex routing or switching schemes.
