Like-new condition. Purchased brand new in Kyoto, Japan (April 2025) and has seen very minimal play since.
This is Fender’s top-tier MIJ Heritage series Jazzmaster, developed under the supervision of Custom Shop Master Builder Mark Kendrick using profiling data from vintage USA instruments. It replicates the model’s introductory 1958–59 specs: a lightweight ash body finished in translucent White Blonde nitrocellulose lacquer (deepens with age, like the originals) and a factory-installed gold anodized aluminum pickguard.
Specifications:
- Body: Ash, lacquer finish, White Blonde
- Neck: Maple, Mid-’60s “C” profile, 7.25” radius fingerboard
- Frets: 21, vintage style
- Nut: Bone, 1.615”
- Bridge: 6-saddle vintage-style with floating tremolo
- Pickups: Custom-wound black bobbin single-coils, selected specifically for the Heritage line
- Electronics: USA-spec CTS pots, cloth-covered wiring throughout
- Switching: 3-position toggle + rhythm/lead circuit slide switch (classic Jazzmaster dual-circuit setup)
No mods, no dings, no fret wear. Comes from a smoke-free home.
