Meyer alto saxophone mouthpiece, 6M, Eric Falcon reface - hard rubber, 1980s
Incredible early babbitt Meyer (USA) alto mouthpiece that was refaced to perfection by Eric Falcon. He maintained a 6 tip opening, its medium chamber. Eric's work is some of the best in the world, and this mouthpiece is a prime example of his fine skills. It is a wonderful player, with great tone, ease, and efficiency in playability. The quality of the hard rubber in these earlier (Babbitt) Meyer USAs is extremely good, and this comes through in the tone and resonance of this mouthpiece.
