The JC120H is the 120W head version of the famous Jazz Chorus, much rarer than the JC-120 combo, especially examples from the 1980s. It's a stereo solid-state amp, renowned for its extremely clear, bright, dynamic, and very powerful clean tone, with the famous stereo chorus/vibrato that has been the hallmark of the JC-120 since 1975. The H version is particularly well-suited to a large pedalboard: its enormous headroom makes it an excellent platform for overdrives, fuzz, delays, and modulations, with a sound that remains very defined even at high volumes. The built-in chorus is obviously a major asset, but the amp is most remarkable for its very pure clean tone; its built-in distortion is rather secondary. It's shown here with its very rare JC-200S cabinet.
