Up for sale here is my excellent condition Ibanez Premium PGM80P-NT and semi-hard case. The guitar itself is in excellent condition, with just one ding to the front of the body, between the bridge and lower strap button (pictured).

The PGM80P-NT features a lightweight, 2-piece ash body with a gloss natural finish and black painted F-holes. It also features a 5-piece maple and walnut neck, a rosewood fretboard with pearloid dot inlays and a proprietary PGM neck shape. This is an incredibly comfortable neck for anyone who’s not a fan of the usual Ibanez Wizard style neck - it feels full and rounded in the hand.

In terms of hardware, the guitar features chrome finished Gotoh locking tuners as standard. It also features a Wilkinson WV6-SB bridge. I bought this guitar earlier this year and found when unpacking it that the trem arm tension grub screw threads in the block were stripped, meaning the arm was loose and just fell out of the bridge (which caused the ding on the top!). I replaced the bridge with the exact same model, but the arm came with a bright white tip, so it unfortunately doesn’t match the pickups. However, you can pick up a new tip online for just a couple of quid.

The pickups in this guitar are beautiful sounding: rich, balanced and full. They are stock Dimarzios as specced by Paul Gilbert - PAF Master humbuckers in the bridge and neck and a PGM single coil in the middle. It also features special 5 way switching - split humbuckers and middle single coil in positions 2 and 4, and both humbuckers together in position 3.

The case is in good condition, but does feature some marks or stains to the exterior. This is how it came to me. However, the interior is perfect and the storage compartment contains 2 spare tremolo springs and the original Ibanez paperwork.

This is a lovely guitar, but I really want to get another EVH Wolfgang Special, so this one has to go to make room - and funds!
