The Warm Audio WA-251 is a true recreation of one of the most revered tube condenser microphones ever built, based on the classic ELA M 251 circuit that has shaped countless hit records. At the heart of the WA-251 sits a CK12-style, edge-terminated large-diaphragm capsule with a 24k gold-sputtered NOS PET film diaphragm, delivering the smooth, rich top end and warm vintage character the original is famous for.

A carefully selected 12AY7 vacuum tube pairs with a custom USA-made CineMag transformer to add low-end weight and airy high-frequency detail without harshness, making the WA-251 a natural choice for vocals and acoustic instruments alike. Three switchable polar patterns - cardioid, omnidirectional and figure-8 - give you the flexibility to match the mic to the room and the source, whether you are tracking a solo vocalist or capturing a room in stereo.

Every WA-251 ships as a complete studio-ready package: the microphone, dedicated power supply, shock mount, Gotham cable and a wood storage box, all in one kit. It is built for engineers who want the sound of a vintage tube classic with modern reliability, right out of the box.
