Up for sale is an incredibly rare and highly sought-after Japanese-built unicorn—a 1990s ESP Eclipse Semi-Hollow (often designated as the Eclipse Arch Top / MA Semi-Hollow) in the factory See-Through Red (Dark Cherry Red) finish.
Made in ESP's legendary Japanese factory during the late 1990s, this early-era Eclipse blends the iconic offset single-cut outline with a semi-hollow mahogany body, carved top, and cat's-eye f-hole. The translucent finish lets the mahogany wood grain shine through beautifully under light.
Unplugged, it is acoustically loud, airy, and lively. Plugged in, its uncovered humbuckers deliver incredible versatility—offering warm, resonant semi-hollow airiness on cleans and tight, focused articulation when pushed into high-gain territory.
