The Ibanez GIO GRG121DX combines the aggressive styling and fast-playing feel of the legendary RG series with outstanding value. Finished in an eye-catching Metallic Gray Sunburst, this earlier version features a bound rosewood fretboard with distinctive white sharktooth inlays.

Its slim GRG maple neck, flat fretboard radius and 24 jumbo frets provide a comfortable platform for fast riffs, wide bends and easy access to the upper register. The solid mahogany body contributes warmth and sustain, while the fixed bridge provides dependable tuning stability and straightforward maintenance.

A pair of Ibanez IBZ-6 ceramic humbuckers delivers the output and definition needed for rock, hard rock and metal. The five-way selector provides a wider range of sounds than a traditional two-humbucker configuration, covering powerful rhythm tones, articulate cleans and focused lead sounds.
