FULLY RESTORED with MATCHED FACTORY SERIAL NUMBERS - PAIR of Technics SL-1210M5G Turntables (circa 2008)

MATCHED SERIAL NUMBERS: Consecutive production batch pair manufactured during the exact same 2008 factory run - serial numbers are just 50 units apart (ending in 1581 and 1631, see images).

The M5G is one of the most sought-after 1200 models ever produced, featuring digital pitch control (±8% / ±16%), blue LED pitch indicators, metallic black finish, and titanium-finish tonearms.

Every single component, accessory, and case in this setup has been thoroughly deep cleaned and prepped prior to listing.

COMPLETE MECHANICAL OVERHAUL & RESTORATION:

Pitch Faders: Completely desoldered, disassembled, deep cleaned, lubricated with DeoxIT F100, reassembled, and calibrated.

Tonearm Assemblies: Height adjusters completely disassembled, cleaned of 20-year-old factory grease, and re-lubricated with synthetic grease. Light synthetic oil applied to tonearm mechanisms where necessary.

Brake & Spindle: Spindles fully serviced and lubricated. Brakes fully calibrated for instant, accurate stops (can provide video verification).

Tracking Lights: Serviced with mechanisms lightly oiled and functioning perfectly.

RCA Cables:

• Deck #1: 100% finished, tested, and fully functional with solid continuity.
• Deck #2: Intermittent continuity was found on one lead (RH/Red): a brand-new Mogami 2965 w Neutrik Rean Gold RCA/Phono Cable (for Technics) was installed. 100% finished, tested, and fully functional with solid continuity.

COSMETIC CONDITION:

Overall: Normal cosmetic wear consistent with nearly 20 years of age. Light scuffing around the corner edges of both cabinets. Generally, they still look FANTASTIC!

Specific Detail: One deck has a ~4-inch scratch near the start/stop button on the faceplate. Both tables have slight wearing (thin line where the cabinet bevels) on edge that is consistent with use in Battlemode. Faceplates still shine nicely, and all lettering/indicators are fully intact.

Original Technics Dust Covers: Original tinted covers included. Fully functional and structurally sound, but show signs of use with general scuffing and a few cracks on each, one has a 4" crack at the dust dome. Technics badges remain vibrant and shiny - the protective film was only recently removed for purpose of pictures for selling. Cracks occurred due to improper stacking during transport/storage.

Original Documentation: Original factory operating manual (x1), warranty sheets (x1), and original Technics 3D holographic cabinet decals (x2).

Original Hardware (x2 of each unless otherwise stated): Pair of factory Technics titanium-finish headshells (with mounting hardware/weights), silver 45 RPM adapters, sub-weights (x1), and stylus overhang gauge (x1). Technics headshells have some, but minimal, scuffing and are ready for you to equip your own cartridge and stylus as none are mounted on the Technics headshells.

Extra Headshells: Additional pair of black Ortofon & Serato Collaboration headshells and cartridges (includes one stylus).

Mats & Covers:

Completely deep cleaned and custom-reinforced internally at all turntable foot contact points for maximum structural support. Factory headshells mounted to tone arms for shipping, tone arms adjusted to zero height when shipped. Both cases will be securely wrapped in protective cardboard for transit.
