Rickenbacker 660/12TP Tom Petty Signature 1992 Fireglo
Hi Folks, this one’s gonna hurt, but picking hand is toast. 1992 Rickenbacker 660/12 Tom Petty in very good condition w/ OHSC, C of A (#666 of 1000), original polish cloth, case key and Allen wrenches, plus extra set of strings. Upgraded with toaster knobs and Schaller strap locks.
Guitar presents very well, but has some light scratches front and back from typical use over the last 34 years, and some slight finish chipping around some of the tuners. Plays like butter and is much more comfortable to play with the slightly wider nut width than other Ric 12 strings.
Case has some light discoloration on one end of the outer silver tolex, but otherwise in very serviceable condition with no odd smells, etc.
Again, hate to let this one go, it’s such a joy to play, sounds great, just too frustrating to try and play anymore. That said, don’t have to sell; I’ll entertain reasonable offers only. US lower 48 only, no returns.
