2017 Taylor 714ce 12-Fret Limited Edition — Rare Hawaiian Koa & Western Red Cedar

This is a rare 2017 Limited Edition Taylor 714ce 12-Fret, with only 5 units reported to have been imported into Japan. It features a stunning set of figured Hawaiian Koa back and sides paired with a rich Western Red Cedar top — a truly special and hard-to-find combination.

Thanks to its 12-fret neck joint, the bridge sits closer to the center of the body, resulting in softer string tension and a fuller, more resonant sound even with a light touch. The tone is bright and shimmering up top, with the rich low-mids characteristic of 12-fret guitars, giving this instrument a rich, complex voice.
