BOSS's first-ever compressor, released in 1978 - a landmark model!

Uses a photocoupler to deliver that classic "pah-koon" compressor sound everyone recognizes. A MODE switch lets you choose between "NORMAL" and "TREBLE." Great for adding a percussive chuck to cutting rhythm work, tightening up a sound, or all-around versatile use. A very solid, thick tone - I'd say this classic Japanese compressor holds its own against a ROSS or DynaComp.

*Some battery leakage residue.
Internal-spring black switch spec.
LED on/off is the standard behavior.
Compatible with the ACA adapter.

Made in Japan
Year: 1980
Accessories: none.
