Vintage 1970s Boss BF-1 Flanger (Made in Japan / Original Big Box Chassis)
Up for sale is my super rare vintage Boss BF-1 Flanger in the iconic large wedge-style chassis.
This first-generation Boss BF-1 is built around "the" Reticon SAD1024 bucket brigade (BBD) IC chip—the same retired chip capable of ultra-short delay times all the way through deep organic analog modulation.

Sounds absolutely amazing and there is no real substitute for the SAD1024. This pedal 100% nails the Paul Westerburg/The Replacements "Within Your Reach" sound and hits the Cure, Police and so many other sounds too. The variety and depth of sounds that this pedal can produce is absolutely absurd and I haven't seen another flanger that touches this thing.
***
Everything is tested and 100% operational and the circuit is all original (with the authentic Reticon SAD1024 BBD intact). Comes with AC center negative power cord.
Please feel free to reach out with any questions or for any further info.
Thanks,
-Mike
