61+ years old now and still doing what people keep building newer amps to approximate.
Very good overall condition. The cabinet is nice and sturdy, tolex is firmly intact, the speakers are original and they have been professionally reconed by one of the best in CA, and the amp has been properly recapped where it was needed and retubed. Healthy and functional without being too overly “restored.”
Cosmetically it shows normal age and wear consistent with an amp that has managed to survive six decades without becoming decoration.
Big clean headroom, deep reverb, and the kind of breakup these are known for once the volume starts moving north.
A genuinely great old Super Reverb that sounds beastly and has already had the important maintenance handled.
Local pickup only due to size and weight. I’m willing to meet up if it’s a reasonable distance.
