Here we have a beautiful vintage Fender Coronado II hollow body electric guitar.  Made in Fullerton CA, USA in 1967.  Serial number 181121.  January 1967 B neck date.  This Coronado II has a Maple body and neck with a 21- fret Rosewood fingerboard.  Original pickups, pots, and switch.  Saddles have been changed to the adjustable style and the originals are included.  F -tuners up top are original.  When we received this guitar, the back of it was in disarray.  There was a black almost "bed liner" type finish on it.  That would never stand so we had our painter refinish the back of the guitar.  The color is spot on.  The back has been "dulled" a bit to match the current state of the rest of the paint on the guitar the best we could.   It came out incredibly well.    As you can see, there are nicks, scratches, indents, chips, and general marks throughout the entire finish.  The back of the neck has various marks and indents.  There is pitting on the chrome covers, bridge, and some of the screws.  As you can see, the headstock had faded too.  This guitar weighs a beautiful 6 lbs even.  It comes in green/gray hardshell case. We are not certain of the maker but the guitar fits in there quite well.  There is a new handle on the case as well.
This Coronado has just been pro setup by our technician with 10-46's.  The neck is straight and the truss rod is working as it should. Good travel in both directions.  The frets are original and in very good shape for their age.  There are some light divots and general play wear but nothing major.  The nut has been changed. This guitar plays cleanly up and down the fingerboard with no issues.
Cosmetically, this guitar is in Good to Very good condition.  Not structural issues or cracks. Please see all photos and feel free to ask any questions you may have.
This Coronado II plays and sounds great.  The adjustable saddles are a nice upgrade and allow for proper string alignment.  Its light weight too.   Add this one to your collection today. Thanks for looking and happy buying!
