This thing is amazing. I love it so much, I bought a rack version to free up room in my lunchbox. Probably the single best option for Pultec in a lunchbox and easily half the price of any rack solution.

Solid state with huge transformers and definitely designed for the classic warmth and huge low end. This unit brings up the bottom just by flipping the switch, a little bit goes a long way. Separate Boost/Cut frequencies on the low end is nice, especially when you have a lot of low mid build up. Although, I do default to the classic Pultec low end boost/cut trick most of the time.

Top end is magic, you can totally transform the top end of your mix. All in all, it is the magic touch for the 2 bus on almost anything. Even if just pushing top end a little bit, the up/down sound spread expands noticeably.
