Fender George Benson Hot Rod Deluxe III – 40-watt 1x12 all-tube combo, the official signature version designed with jazz legend George Benson.

This is a refined take on the classic Hot Rod Deluxe III platform with several meaningful upgrades that give it a cleaner, more transparent, and resonant voice — especially well-suited for jazz, blues, clean tones, and players who use pedals.

Key upgrades vs. standard Hot Rod Deluxe III:

• Solid pine cabinet (lighter and more resonant/transparent than the standard plywood/MDF cab)
• 12" Jensen C12K 100-watt speaker (more headroom and clarity than the stock Celestion)
• Preamp tube complement: 1 × 12AT7 (V1) + 2 × 12AX7 for smoother, cleaner response (especially nice with humbuckers)
• Distinctive gray-black vinyl covering, silver-strand grille cloth, and “GB” logo badge

Core features:

• 40 watts
• All-tube design (2 × 6L6 power tubes)
• Three channels: Normal (clean), Drive, and More Drive
• Real Fender spring reverb
• Effects loop (preamp out / power amp in)
• Presence control, 3-band EQ, Master Volume, Drive Volume, Bright switch
• Two inputs (Input 2 is attenuated)
• Extension speaker jack
• Includes 2-button / 3-function footswitch (channel + drive/more drive)
• Includes padded cover (when original)

Condition notes: [Describe your amp honestly here. Examples:]

• Fully functional — all channels, reverb, effects loop, and footswitch working properly.
• Cosmetically very good
• Original Jensen C12K speaker / tubes appear original
• Comes with original footswitch.

This is an excellent pedal platform and a great choice if you want classic Fender cleans with more clarity and headroom than a stock Hot Rod Deluxe, while still having usable drive channels when needed. The pine cab and Jensen speaker give it a noticeably different (and often preferred) character for jazz, fusion, and clean-focused players.
