Vox invented the wah pedal in 1967, and in doing so created one of the most expressive and iconic sounds in all of guitar music. The V847 is Vox's faithful continuation of that original vision — a clean, no-frills wah that delivers the classic vocal sweep that defined the sound of countless records across rock, soul, funk, and blues. Simple by design, musical by nature. The Made in USA examples from this era are particularly well regarded by players who appreciate consistent quality and the closer circuit lineage to the original Thomas Organ units. This example in Black/Chrome is in excellent condition.
