Mosaic Variable Delay Eurorack module in the Intellijel 1U format, built around the Electro-Smith Daisy Seed DSP platform.

In its stock configuration, Variable Delay is a compact digital delay designed for everything from subtle echoes and slapback to longer repeats, feedback-heavy textures, pitch-shifting delay effects, and frozen/glitched ambience. The front panel provides direct control over Blend, Time, and Feedback, along with a dedicated Freeze function, audio input, CV control, and audio output.

Like Mosaic’s other Daisy-based digital modules, the hardware is also especially interesting for developers, firmware tinkerers, and experimental modular users. The onboard Daisy Seed provides a powerful programmable DSP platform, meaning experienced programmers may be able to write and flash custom firmware and repurpose the module’s knobs, jacks, button, and DSP hardware for entirely different Eurorack applications.
