For sale is my 2013 Gibson Custom Shop 1958 Les Paul Standard Reissue (R8) in a beautiful Iced Tea VOS finish with a lightly figured maple top.
This guitar was originally sold through Wildwood Guitars in 2013, and I’ve personally contacted Wildwood to verify its original specifications and history.
I acquired it from a collector who kept the guitar stored in its case for most of its life. It remains in excellent condition and is completely original, with no modifications.

Condition & History
This is an exceptionally well-preserved example of an early 2013 Historic Reissue. It has spent most of its life in the hands of a collector rather than being regularly gigged.
The Iced Tea finish pairs beautifully with the lightly figured maple top, offering a more understated vintage appearance than heavily figured examples.
The neck has that substantial late-‘50s profile these guitars are known for, with Wildwood’s original measurements confirming a comfortable .930” depth at the first fret and 1.000” at the twelfth.

The 2013 model year marked an important period for Gibson’s Historic Reissue program, introducing several construction and specification updates intended to bring these instruments closer to their original late-1950s counterparts.
