1966 Epiphone Frontier Acoustic Flat-Top. Spruce top in Natural finish. Smaller pickguard model without the "E". Flamed maple back and sides with a brown stain finish. Mahogany neck and Brazilian rosewood fretboard. Factory gold tulip-button keys. The guitar is factory original in parts and construction.

I got it from the 2nd owner's son, who had it for the better part of 50 years. It was played, and has some visible signs of age and wear, but no major issues. I just had my luthier dress the frets, cleat a small crack near the end of the pickguard, under the top, and secure one brace. It is all secure and ready to go, now. There is a visible finish crack on the bass side of the body, near the edge binding where the middle curve is located, but it's not through-the-wood. It's just from the overall shrinkage of the top and finish, over the course of 60 years. There are nicks and dings and weather-checking lines visible. But, it's very solid and safe.

It has the original adjustable porcelain saddle. There is a little more space to lower the action if you want, but it's perfect as-is. It's VERY loud and mellow! It has that Gibson/Epiphone tone. Sounds like a Dove. It has the narrower nut width. But, to me, for some reason, I don't notice it as much on the Epiphone models (Texan, El Dorado, and Frontier). It has the distinctive fretboard inlays and binding, and the headstock inlay, all unique to the FT-100 Frontier.

Original hardshell case (as best I can tell). I added some Ozium to kill the smoke smell. The guitar doesn't smell like smoke at all, out of the case. The lock latch on the case is gone, but the others are intact.

I'll be adding a demo video soon. Sounds and plays AMAZING! Don't buy new ones, the sound of the aged wood cannot be replicated.

Trades Considered.
