1982 Fender Stratocaster hard tail- Dan Smith -Great guitar but I have ed to thin the collection as it’s grown more than I can store.

This was sold to me as 100% original, but I’m listing this as a players guitar - it’s definately been shown a lot of love around the club scene, but the strap buttons don’t look correct- they look like they've been changed, although they are old. Everything else appears correct. Please review photos and let me know if you have any questions.

The guitar is great - early 80s is when Fender rebuilt the brand and it shows - everything works just fine and sounds fantastic - frets are original and still have some meat left on them however you might want to change them out to your playability preferences, as this guitar has been played.

I wasn’t a fan of the neck shape at first (it’s a nice V shape that fits perfectly in your hand - just wasn’t used to that style, but now I love it!), so it your looking for that style this one’s for you (more like a 50s V shape)!

Letting it go at a good price, as these are becoming collectibles at 44 years old, and please note this guitar is listed locally so the sale could end because someone purchased it here - just reach out to confirm, but I’ll try to update as fast as I can to avoid that issue.
