Absolutely dead mint Danelectro Back Talk REVERSE delay! These things are so much fun! The Black Angels’ guitarist used one.

The original Danelectro Back Talk Reverse Delay from the late 1990s is one of the coolest and most collectible pedals from Danelectro’s early large-box lineup. Unlike a conventional delay, it captures your playing and reproduces it backward, creating swelling, psychedelic phrases reminiscent of reversed tape and studio effects. The simple Speed, Repeats, and Mix controls make everything from subtle backward ambience to completely warped, cascading textures possible.

The Version 1/original Back Talk has developed a cult following because of its distinctive reverse algorithm, quirky vintage enclosure, and relatively short production run. Originals have become increasingly sought after by collectors, especially clean examples, and are generally considered more desirable than the later reissue.
