Electro-Voice PL77 handheld, cardioid condenser vocal microphone. Please see the pictures for the cosmetic details. Made in the USA in the 80's. The mic operates on phantom power. It could also work with a 4.5V battery, but they are no longer available. It has a very wide frequency response (50-20Khz) and sounds quite good, even compared to newer mics. This model is almost the same as the EV 1776 and PL76A mics, but the phantom power option was already added from the factory. Solidly built. There is new foam in the grille and the coupling capacitor that usually fails after time in these models has been replaced. Mic only.
