ADC big vintage 60s/70s stereo transformers mix bus box ala we rep 111c

Custom handmade to order Vintage 1960s-70s era big heavy line transformers made in USA by ADC (Audio Development Company minnesota). The single stereo case has a desktop footprint about 7x7 square by 8" tall. These are mix/mastering grade repeat coils similar to WE rep 111c but a bit more modern sounding, with a big low end, more open mids and more detailed and airy highs than the old 40's/50s 111c which are more laid back and flat sounding. These hit a bit harder with more precise transients, no mud at all thanks to the open midrange, with more high end detail while also silky smooth...all around better for more "modern" music (say 80s to present lol).

Measures from under 10Hz to over 40kHz on audio precision test equipment. Mixes sound more analog and glued together in a cohesive way, less need for compression and eq. Wired 1:1 unity gain, use anywhere in the signal chain ie before or after any line level gear, buses, after preamps, before/after compressors & eq's to beef them up, etc. Fully passive, no power needed. Heavy duty, wired with shielded wiring and grounded for quiet operation. Housed and wired with black metal neutrik german XLR's. (jacks shown on the fronts just for pictures...will come w/ xlr's on back to keep cables out of the way, with transformer logos still front facing, unless you want the jacks on front). Also includes an optional stereo LPF (high cut) tone knob if wanted, to gently roll off the high end to taste for a more vintage sound (not pictured).

NOTE ON SHIPPING TIME: Each box is semi "built to order" by hand, using stock on hand and usually ships in two weeks. Tracking will be sent when ordered then we will notify you when unit is dropped off at UPS to track when ready. Transformers may have slight cosmetic variations from pictures. Ships UPS ground signature required, or you can put on hold for pickup at a UPS store if won't be home to sign.
