The Genzler Magellan 800+ is the next generation of Genzler's acclaimed Magellan bass amplifier, delivering 800 watts of professional, tour-class power in an incredibly lightweight 6.25-pound package. The all-analog, solid-state design provides a wide tonal palette ranging from pristine, transparent reproduction to rich vintage-inspired harmonic textures, while the updated input circuitry delivers improved dynamics, lower noise, and increased headroom. Housed in a rugged, aircraft-grade aluminum chassis, the Magellan 800+ is built for demanding players who need exceptional tone and reliability without the weight of a traditional high-powered bass head.

The Magellan 800+ adds several significant improvements over the original Magellan 800, including a foot-switchable DRIVE circuit, variable 25–120Hz high-pass filter, and Genzler's Dual Contour Circuit with independently adjustable Classic-to-Modern and Thicker-to-Vintage curves. Its 4-band active EQ includes two sweepable midrange sections for precise tonal shaping, while the rear panel provides dual Speakon outputs, effects loop, tuner output, headphone output, and switchable pre/post direct output. With a universal 100–240V power supply and output capability of 400 watts at 8 ohms and 800 watts at 4 or 2.67 ohms, the Magellan 800+ is ready for stages anywhere in the world.
