Two original vintage Neve 1066 mic pre / 3-band EQ modules, professionally racked and working. Not AMS, not BAE, not a clone — genuine period British-built Class A discrete modules pulled from an original Neve desk.

THE MODULES

The 1066 shares the 1073’s preamp and line amp circuit with different EQ frequency points — top band at 10kHz instead of 12kHz, with low and mid centers chosen just differently enough that engineers commonly run 1066s alongside 1073s as complements. Fat Neve low end, thick low mids, sweet top.

• Class A discrete mic/line preamp, stepped gain switch (mic, line, and off positions)

• 3-band inductor EQ with stepped frequency selection

• Switchable high-pass filter

• EQ bypass (EQL) and polarity/phase switches per channel

THE RACK — Boutique Audio and Design, 3U

• Internal power supply

• Switchable +48V phantom per channel

• Output level trim per channel

• Front-panel INST/LINE DI input per channel — plug a bass or guitar straight into a real Neve

• XLR mic/line I/O on rear

BA&D is one of the two or three racking houses serious studios actually trust. This is not a garage job.
