Hand-hammered Goldilocks of a 1950s A. Zildjian Ride! Just about perfect for a 20” model at 2,104g. No cracks, chips, keying, edge damage, or flea bites.
Superb condition for a ~70+ year old Zildjian!
DARK!!!
The medium-thin weight, coupled with distinct and complex hammer rows/hand-hammering, and a steep hook towards the edge (see last photo!) provide a broad tone and unmistakable characteristics.
I tested this cymbal next to a 20” Zildjian A. & CIE Reissue at 1,918g in my collection…very impressive kinship!
