Up for sale we have a killer 100% original 1964 Gibson Firebird III in Sunburst finish with original hardshell case, strap, cable and vintage strings.
A superb example of one of Gibson’s most distinctive and forward-looking designs, this 1964 Gibson Firebird III features the unmistakable mid-century styling of the Firebird series, powerful and articulate mini-humbucking pickups and the unique overall character that made these guitars such coveted instruments among players and collectors.
The particular instrument is in excellent collector-grade condition showing light cosmetic wear with surface scuffs, scratches, small dings and dents scattered throughout the body. The backside shows a bit more wear than the front but is all typical wear from normal use over the years. The backside of the neck has a handful of small scratched patches (likely from being leaned against amps/furniture etc. see photo) and the headstock has a handful of small dings around the edges. Plays and sounds fantastic! Would make a great addition to any high-end collection and played-in enough to feel great and be very inviting.
