Here is a rare example of a Y2K (2000) Gibson Les Paul Special in natural mahogany. This is one of the ones with the super cool mini trapezoid fretboard inlays. It is in excellent condition with one noticeable ding by one of the volume knobs. Otherwise there is some swirling and light scratching and very light dings which are very hard to show in photos. There is also some buckle rash on the back, but nothing even close to thru the finish. This guitar has Lollar P-90’s, the bridge is wound a little hotter and the neck a little cooler. They blend fabulously so you get that famous P-90 grit and grind, and that chimey Les Paul chime in the middle position. The controls are an Emerson 50’s wired set which means super useable volume and tone controls. Gosh! What a freaking great sounding guitar this is! Weight is 8 pounds. And finally it is housed in a custom made hardshell case much like the TKL Gibson cases. If you have any questions or want any other photos just let me know.
