Shure SM7dB Dynamic Vocal Microphone with Built-in Preamp

At Haggerty's Music, we know what it takes to capture the perfect sound. Serving Rapid City and the Black Hills since 1963, our expert staff of gigging musicians and audio professionals are always on the hunt for gear that truly elevates your mix. That's why we are thrilled to offer the Shure SM7dB Dynamic Vocal Microphone.

Built on the legendary legacy of the industry-standard SM7B, the new SM7dB adds a custom-designed built-in preamp. This gives you up to +28 dB of low-noise, flat, transparent gain—making it incredibly easy to plug into almost any interface and simplify your audio chain without sacrificing that iconic, broadcast-ready tone.

Why Choose the Shure SM7dB?

• Selectable Built-In Preamp: Choose between a boost of +18dB or +28dB of extra gain to perfectly match your interface.
• True to the Original: A convenient bypass switch lets you deactivate the preamp to revert instantly to the classic SM7B performance.
• Customizable EQ Controls: Shape your sound with built-in bass roll-off and mid-range emphasis (presence boost) switches.
• Pristine Audio Quality: Features a flat, wide-range frequency response for exceptionally clean and natural reproduction of both music and speech.
• Advanced Noise Rejection: Internal “air suspension” shock isolation virtually eliminates mechanical noise, while superior shielding rejects electromagnetic hum emitted by computer monitors.
• Plosive Protection: The highly effective built-in pop filter completely eliminates the need for any add-on protection against explosive breath sounds, even for tight, close-up vocals.
• Precision Mounting: Yoke mounting with a captive stand nut provides exact control of the microphone's position.
