Vintage 1966 Harmony H-15 Silhouette / Bobcat Electric Guitar w/ Original Case!

Up for sale is this vintage 1966 Harmony H-15 Silhouette electric guitar. These were built in fairly large numbers and we've seen a lot of them over the years. With that out of the way, this is the nicest playing example that we've ever come across and, to be honest with you, we're all still quite shocked by how well this one plays...

This instrument is all original and is in very nice condition for its age. The original sunburst finish shows some small dings, scuffs, and scratches as well as a few chips around the edges. There is some light discoloration on the back of the neck which can be seen in the photos. The hardware shows light wear and pitting. Overall, it's a very well-preserved example.

Our tech has just gone over this one by cleaning it up, polishing the frets, oiling the fretboard, spraying out the electronics, installing a fresh set of strings, and doing some light set up work. It's a great playing guitar with a straight neck and the lowest, most comfortable action that we've ever seen on one of these. There is some light fret buzz here and there if you're digging in, but nothing major or bothersome This is not your run-of-the-mill example of this model, trust us.

The original softshell case is included and is in very nice condition as well. The case pocket lid has come detached and has been reattached at some point with duct tape. The instrument will be well-packed inside and out to ensure safe shipping.

You could buy a hundred of these guitars and not run across an example like this. If you're in the market for one of these mid-1960's Silhouettes, here's your chance at one that doesn't suffer from the issues that many of them suffer from...
