Vintage Korg Polysix PS-6 six-voice analog synthesizer.

I am the original owner of this instrument. It was used during my years as a working musician and has remained in my personal studio since that time. I am now selling it as part of the liquidation of my home studio.

IMPORTANT: This Polysix is being sold NON-FUNCTIONING and AS-IS as a repair/restoration project.

I recently powered the instrument on to test it. It powers up and the panel LEDs illuminate, but I am not getting audio output from the synthesizer.

I have not attempted to diagnose or repair the problem, and I do not know what will be required to return it to full working condition. In particular, I have not opened the instrument to inspect the internal circuitry or battery condition, so I cannot make any representation regarding their condition.

Cosmetic condition is shown in the photographs. Please examine them carefully as they are part of the description.

Given the desirability and value of working Polysix synthesizers, I have chosen to offer this instrument at a substantial discount rather than undertake a restoration myself. It should be considered a project for a qualified vintage synthesizer technician, collector, or buyer comfortable assuming the cost and uncertainty of repair.
