2014 Martin D-45 – Pristine NOS / Collector Condition – Full Documentation & Original Case

$8,750

Offered here is an exceptional 2014 Martin D-45 in what can best be described as pristine, near-new-old-stock condition, being sold on behalf of the original owner's family.

This guitar has been extraordinarily well preserved. I can find no meaningful play wear, scratches, dings, finish checking, or other condition issues anywhere on the instrument. The top is exceptionally clean, the rosewood back and sides are beautiful, the neck is straight, and the guitar presents essentially as it would have when new.

For someone searching for a D-45 from this era, it would be difficult to find a cleaner or more complete example.

Complete Original Package

One of the things that makes this particular D-45 special is the amount of original documentation and case material that has remained with the guitar since new.

Included are the original Martin molded hardshell case and an extensive collection of original paperwork and materials, including:

• Original Martin Owner's Card
• Original Sweetwater sales invoice
• Sweetwater 55-point Guitar Evaluation
• Martin warranty/care literature
• Martin factory literature
• Original hang tags
• Case tag
• String tag
• Additional original documentation and case materials shown in the photographs

The paperwork documents the guitar back to its original 2014 purchase and accompanies the instrument.

The D-45

The D-45 represents the flagship of Martin's traditional dreadnought line and is one of the most recognizable American acoustic guitars ever produced. With extensive abalone appointments, a bound ebony fingerboard, pearl inlays, gold hardware, premium tonewoods, and an unmistakable D-45 aesthetic, these guitars occupy a special place in Martin's history.

This particular example combines that pedigree with something increasingly difficult to find: an older D-45 that appears virtually untouched and remains with its original case and extensive documentation.

I would consider this an excellent candidate for a collector who wants an exceptionally preserved example, while still being a world-class instrument that can be enjoyed and played.
