G&L USA ASAT Classic Build to Order Guitar 3 Tone Sunburst Rosewood

G&L USA ASAT Classic Build to Order Guitar 3 Tone Sunburst Rosewood

This unplayed, mint-condition ASAT Classic delivers the balanced comfort and responsive feel that defines G&L's modern classic design. The Modern Classic neck profile sits naturally in the hand with its 1 11/16" nut width and carefully contoured depth, making extended playing sessions effortless. The 3 Tone Sunburst finish with 3-ply tortoise shell pickguard presents a timeless aesthetic that complements the guitar's straightforward, no-nonsense architecture.

Playability & Feel

The neck combines Hard Rock Maple with satin clear finish and Caribbean Rosewood fingerboard, offering smooth fret access with natural feel underhand. The Modern Classic profile measures 1 5/8" string spacing with a 9.5" radius, 0.820" depth at the 1st fret tapering to 0.870" at the 12th fret—geometry that suits both rhythm and lead work across genres.

Tone & Electronics

Two G&L ASAT Classic single-coil pickups deliver articulate, bell-like clarity with responsive dynamics characteristic of offset single-coil design. Simple controls—3-position pickup selector, volume, and tone—provide straightforward access to a range of textures without unnecessary complexity, while the traditional boxed steel bridge with individual brass saddles ensures stable intonation and sustain.
