Fender Modern Player Starcaster Bass in Black, manufactured in 2014.

Reluctantly selling this rather rare semi-hollow bass from Fender’s discontinued Modern Player series, combining the offset Starcaster body shape with a comfortable 30” short scale.

This bass in great condition and fully working, with only light signs of use. It is all original with no modifications. There is a small lacquer crack on the back of the neck, shown in the photos. This is purely cosmetic and does not affect the feel or playability of the neck.

Features include:

• Semi-hollow body with bound top and back
• 30” short-scale maple neck
• Maple fingerboard
• Dual Fender Wide Range humbucking bass pickups
• Individual volume and tone controls for each pickup
• 3-way pickup selector
• Fender HiMass four-saddle bridge

The bass has been well looked after and kept indoors as a studio instrument not gigged much. Electronics and hardware are fully working.

Fender gig bag included.
