Selling a 1965 Epiphone Cortez FT-45 acoustic guitar in great condition.
This is a beautiful Gibson-era Epiphone, built in Kalamazoo, Michigan during the period when Epiphone acoustic guitars were being made alongside Gibson instruments.
The Cortez is a small-body acoustic same as a Gibson LG-2/B-25 just with an Epiphone headstock/logo — comfortable, lightweight, and particularly nice for recording, fingerpicking, strumming, folk, country, and songwriting.
I bought this guitar from the original owner's daughter. It has the original-style adjustable bridge and includes a chipboard case.
Really sweet vintage acoustic with a dry, woody 1960s Kalamazoo sound. It's a comfortable size and a very cool alternative to the more expensive vintage Gibson small-body acoustics.
